Provide administrative support to the Ministry Experience Programme in the Kensington Episcopal Area.
Consult with key people, organisations and institutions to ensure a collaborative model is developed.
Assist in researching funding options, including grants and potential donations, and assist in making applications as necessary.
Assist with the recruitment of interns to the programme, including the preparation and placement of adverts, web-pages, receipt of applications, etc.
Assist the Area Director of Mission and other key individuals in the diocesan finance and property departments consider all options for resourcing and establishing the preferred model for property, finance, funding and accommodation.
Liaise with providers of accommodation and administer arrangements to ensure that rooms are secured and made available at the right time for Volunteers, and to assist in resolving any issues that may arise.
Keep records of income and expenditure for the Scheme.
Administer applications and other arrangements with St Mellitus College and other Educational establishments.
Liaise with Incumbents and others in the receiving parishes and advise the Area Director of Mission and other key individuals of any issues to help ensure the smooth running of the Scheme.
Such other responsibilities as the Area Bishop or Director of Mission may require.
S/he will be a good networker capable of building good relationships with individuals and institutions.
S/he will be a good self-starter, well-motivated and with the energy to help develop the Scheme.
S/he must have the ability to see how the Scheme fits into the wider strategic vision of the Area.
S/he will be committed to working collaboratively and will have a positive attitude to the ecclesiastical structures within which the programme must operate.
