The Church of England Pensions Board provides retirement services set by the Church of England for those who have served or worked for the Church.
It assists over 40,000 people across over 520 employers.
The Central Secretariat sits at the centre of the Pensions Board’s activities. It includes the Chief Executive and members of the Board’s senior team. It is undergoing a period of change – the Chief Executive has been in post since July 2018, and there will be a new Chair of the Board appointed in early 2019.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a proactive Business Support Executive with a passion for organising with accuracy and precision.
This is no ordinary job, it is varied and dynamic and offers the opportunity to gain experience of providing comprehensive support to the Chief Executive and other senior executives, as well as to the Board of trustees, its Chair and Committees.
These are busy roles with many spinning plates and part of your job will be to make sure that their working lives, office systems and all functions and events run as smoothly as possible.
As well as being a natural communicator who is skilled at building relationships at all levels, you will be confident, professional and unflappable in person, able to prioritise with ease, operating several steps ahead at all times.
