Durham Cathedral is looking for an innovative, self-motivated and results driven team player to build on the strong foundations laid in delivering the highest standards of governance and compliance across the Cathedral.
Applying the strong experience that you have acquired in governance and compliance, you will play a key role in developing, maintaining and managing an effective system of governance for the Cathedral with adherence to the highest standards of good governance practice
In addition, you will ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and legislative requirements, provide comprehensive and effective secretariat support for the statutory committees and deputise for the Chapter Clerk and Chief Operating Officer.
You will possess a degree level qualification or equivalent, with supporting evidence of continuous professional development; or relevant professional experience; and have gained significant experience of working at a senior management level in a complex organisation.
Your ability to influence, inspire and engage will complement your core values that are aligned to those of the Cathedral.
