We are seeing to appoint a dynamic individual to be Priest in charge of Woodhouse/Wrangthorn and Associate Rector of St George’s Leeds.

This is a unique post, developing mission and ministry in both a large church and a smaller church. The challenge is to love both roles equally and to be effective in both. However, there is considerable overlap, as both churches share the same vision for developing discipleship to grow the church in numbers, in depth of spiritual commitment, and in service to the parish and the city

The role is divided 0.5 FTE at St George's and 0.5 FTE at Woodhouse and Wrangthorn but with flexibility.

  • Three days at St George's with once a month preach or lead a Sunday Serivce
  • Three days at Woodhouse and Wrangthorn including all Sunday services except on a month to preach or lead at one service at St George's
  • A high degree of flexibility in time allocation will be required
