St Luke's is a thriving church in the heart of the New Forest.
"Growing in our love for Jesus, His world and each other"
We are a single church parish with a 70:30 division between parochial leadership and wider deanery mission.
We are a loving and generous congregation in a thriving village in the New Forest, situated between Bournemouth and Southampton. We have developed different worship styles on a Sunday to cater for our breadth of churchmanship. We have a recently reordered Victorian church building.
We offer a four bedroomed family vicarage in the heart of the village, next to the church.
We have good links with St Luke’s Primary School.
We are seeking a confident and discerning leader who can build on our strengths and challenge and lead us, with a clear vision, to reach the families in our community, with the love of Jesus.

Will be a good leader with clear vision, someone with heart for families and young people. Able to work well with the 70:30 role division. Will lead us into the Lord’s presence through different worship styles and able to integrate our prayer life and the gifts of the Holy Spirit into the day to day life of the church. At the heart of our life is the desire to be always Living the Mission of Jesus. We are engaged in a strategic process to deliver a mission-shaped Diocese, in which parochial, pastoral and new forms of pioneering and radical ministry all flourish. Infused with God's missionary Spirit we want three character traits to be clearly visible in how we live:
The Diocese of Winchester is an exciting place to be right now. With a grant of £4.3m from the strategic Development Fund, we are investing in missional projects across the diocese which are aimed at strategic growth for the common good. We pray that, if God is calling you to join us in his mission here, he will reveal this to you clearly as you consider this post
